September 7th, 2009
Hello. My name is Stephen J. Stelick, Jr. and I am running for re-election to continue my service to the residents of the Town of Dryden for a third term as a Town Councilman.
I am a lifelong resident of the Town. You can read more about me and my service by clicking on the attached pages.
I would be honored to receive resident’s support so that I may continue in the smart forward progress and growth the Town has made over my last eight years in office, as well as bring closure to on-going Town projects.
I have repeatedly proven my abilities and successful experience as a positive leader, manager, trainer, auditor, fiscal planner, communicator, listener, and in forming inter-municipal cooperation and positive employee dealings.
I am proud of my contributions in the Town’s forward progress and growth, while maintaining the Town tax rate at a zero increase, six out of the last seven years in office. The 2009 year budget incurred a very slight increase. I wasn’t involved in building the budget my first year on the Board.
In my last two terms, I have proven my ability to work on a wide scope of issues with various residents and groups. Having a full-time traditional job providing for my family does not diminish my commitment and service to the Town of Dryden and its residents. I would be honored to receive your vote on Election Day to continue my stewardship to the Town of Dryden and it’s residents.
If questions, contact me by email: sstelick@aol.com; or phone: 844-9610; or Growing Up Dryden ; or leave a comment for me on this website.
General Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2009 – Polls are open 6am-9pm.
I am running on the Independent and Republican lines.
Sincerely, Steve
